The study found severe liver andkidney damage and hormonal disturbances in rats fed the GM maizeand low levels of Roundup that are below those permitted indrinking water in the EU. Toxic effects were found from the GMmaize tested alone, as well as from Roundup tested alone andtogether with the maize.
